It really depends on the person. Some people like the look of wood. However, some people love zero maintenance. If you are the type that likes zero maintenance but likes the look of modern plastic… then get a plastic shed.
This depends on if you prefer metal or wood. These days, the quality of metal is so good and they do not rust like they used to. They also come in handsome colours now instead of the classic puke green old school sheds. A metal shed will last much longer than a wooden shed and also with zero maintenance.
Flat pack sheds Ireland are the cheapest option available. This is because there are no costs for self assembly. However, The cheapest option comes down to design and size. If you want a cheap shed, I would recommend our entry level small sheds. If you need a big shed on a budget, I would recommend looking at our entry level classic sheds.
Yes, a shed is a good investment. A good shed will last decades adn that is decades of protecting your belongings form the elements and theft. A good shed also frees up space in your house for items that can be stored in the shed. This gives a minimalism feel to your home.
Flat pack sheds Ireland do need a foundation. When I say a foundation, I do not mean a 12 inch thick slab of concrete. However, it does need concrete (a few inches thick) or tarmac or paving slabs at the very least. We also recommend a membrane be placed on the foundation to prevent condensation in the shed during the winter.
Sheds have become more expensive because of inflation and the shortage of materials. However, our manufacturers have improved the designs of the sheds so that less material can be used due to higher quality finishes being applied. If you find our sheds are too expensive, try looking at small sheds or the entry level classic sheds.
A good shed now lasts 25 years plus. If you look after the shed by not damaging the surface of them, then they have no reason to rust. Sheds do not last when they are not placed on a good level foundation (which causes stress in the product). To add to this, when they get banged around and the surface scratched, this causes rust over time.
The best foundation is a concrete pad. A concrete pad that is level. A level pad ensures that there is no stress on the shed and the doors and everything will be straight. Good foundations are also tarmac and paving slabs that are flat.

So how difficult is it to assemble. Well, we have quite the portfolio of products and some are quite large. If you can build an Ikea style desk, then you can easily build one of our sheds. The only thing we would recommend is having someone giving you a hand. The reason being, it is much easier to screw a panel in, when your friend is supporting the weight of it.. and thats it! Easy.
